Spectrum Starburst
Travel through glowing musical contours with Spectrum Starburst. Captured peaks echo through depth, with six looks and five formations.
Spectrum Starburst carries captured musical peaks through a tunnel of luminous contours. Start with Electric Dahlia to watch new shapes appear in the distance and travel toward you. Try Chrome Corona or Solar Fan for open ray formations, or blend between all five arrangements.

Quick start
- Start the demo track, choose a local audio file, or enable a live input.
- Try a preset or style first, then open the section for the part of the image you want to change.
- On a control with Assign modulation, open the source picker, choose a signal, and watch the slider's live fill.
- Use Reset to Defaults whenever you want to return to the original look.

How do I share a factory look?
Open SHARE A LOOK, choose a preset from FACTORY LOOK, and select COPY LOOK LINK. The link opens that original preset with its audio reactions. Personal slider edits and music are not included. Use OPEN LOOK to preview what the recipient will see.
How do I share my edited look?
Open SHARE A LOOK, select PREPARE MY LOOK, then choose COPY MY LOOK LINK. The link includes your current visual settings, modulation routes, and generator settings. Music is not included. Use OPEN MY LOOK to preview the result. Prepare a new link after making more edits.
Audio modulation
On a control with Assign modulation, select the activity icon to open Modulate with. Choose a named source, or choose — None to leave the control unmodulated. After you assign one, its name appears below the slider; select that name to edit the route, or use Clear modulation to remove it. The slider track shows the live signal reaching the control.
| Modulated control | Section | What the route changes |
|---|---|---|
| Inner Radius | Structure | Opens the gap around the center of the formation. |
| Path Length | Structure | Extends the tunnel through depth or lengthens the open rays. |
| Line Width | Structure | Sets the thickness of each contour or ray. |
| Spectrum Reach | Structure | Pushes frequency ridges inward toward the opening in Contour Tunnel, or extends individual rays in other formations. Zero removes that response. |
| Path Bend | Structure | Curves the tunnel path or bends the open rays into petals. |
| Curl | Structure | Twists the paths in opposite directions on either side of zero. |
| Wave Bend | Structure | Sets the strength of musical bends captured into each traveling shape. |
| Flow Speed | Structure | Sets the changing orientation of new shapes. Negative values reverse the direction; zero holds it. Existing echoes carry their captured orientation along the path. |
| Source Light | Surface | Lights the traveling contours in Contour Tunnel. Lower settings reveal darker valleys while the source stays lit. |
| Emitter Brightness | Surface | Sets how brightly the white emitter ring glows in Contour Tunnel without changing how strongly it lights the contours. Zero hides the ring. It follows the overall level by default, like Source Light; assign a different source to pulse it on its own. |
| Contour Glow | Surface | Makes the traveling contours glow along their whole length in Contour Tunnel, independent of the emitter light. Zero leaves them lit only by the emitter. |
| Surface Roughness | Surface | Softens sharp surface reflections. Compare Chrome with the camera held still. |
| Hue | Surface | Chooses the starting contour color. |
| Color Spread | Surface | Sets how far the colors sweep around the color wheel. |
| Depth Displacement | Camera | Adds musical bends toward and away from the camera. Try Top or ISO to see the depth clearly. |
| Camera Speed | Camera | Sets how quickly the camera travels along its path. |
| Camera Travel | Camera | Sets how far the camera wanders from its chosen view; 0 holds it still and higher values sweep it through wider arcs. |
Settings reference
Structure
| Setting | Available values | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Formation | CONTOUR TUNNEL, STAR, VORTEX, CROWN, FAN | Chooses Contour Tunnel, Star, Vortex, Crown, or Fan. |
| Ridge Direction | TOWARD YOU, INWARD, OUTWARD | Chooses how a loud frequency shapes its arc of the ring while it grows toward you. Inward, the default, folds the arc toward the center of the tunnel as a rounded loop; Toward You curls the growing finger in so its tip reaches the tunnel opening; Outward bulges it away from the center. In open formations, Inward shortens the loud ray and the other two extend it. |
| Formation Transition | 0.2–4; default 1.5 | Sets how many seconds the contours or rays take to blend into a new formation. |
| Count | 16–176; default 120 | Sets the number of tunnel contours or open rays. |
| Inner Radius | 0–1; default 0.25 | Opens the gap around the center of the formation. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Path Length | 0.5–3; default 3 | Extends the tunnel through depth or lengthens the open rays. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Line Width | 0.008–0.12; default 0.06 | Sets the thickness of each contour or ray. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Spectrum Reach | 0–3; default 1 | Pushes frequency ridges inward toward the opening in Contour Tunnel, or extends individual rays in other formations. Zero removes that response. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Path Bend | 0–2; default 0 | Curves the tunnel path or bends the open rays into petals. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Curl | -2–2; default 0 | Twists the paths in opposite directions on either side of zero. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Wave Bend | 0–1.5; default 0 | Sets the strength of musical bends captured into each traveling shape. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Flow Speed | -1–1; default 0 | Sets the changing orientation of new shapes. Negative values reverse the direction; zero holds it. Existing echoes carry their captured orientation along the path. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |

|---|---|---|
| Finish | NEON, CHROME, PEARL | Chooses Neon, Chrome, or Pearl contours. |

Some controls appear only after you enable a related mode or style. The settings panel always reflects the options available for the current selection.
Tips for a better audio visualization
- Follow one peak from the distant opening toward the camera. New music creates new contours while earlier peaks travel onward.
- Compare Spectrum Reach at zero and its maximum while music plays.
