Laser Rings
Explore electric blue rings and fiery arcs that fold into recursive fields, sweep past the camera, and move with music.
Laser Rings fills the canvas with open electric-blue contours and connected orange arcs. One recursive field approaches from the distance, opens past the camera, turns through a folded close passage, and retreats. Press and hold on the canvas to ease its focus into chained islands and dense recursive patterns, then drag continuously between them. Assigned Field Position modulation follows the same smooth structural path with music.

Quick start
- Start the demo track, choose a local audio file, or enable a live input.
- Try a preset or style first, then open the section for the part of the image you want to change.
- On a control with Assign modulation, open the source picker, choose a signal, and watch the slider's live fill.
- Use Reset to Defaults whenever you want to return to the original look.

How do I share a factory look?
Open SHARE A LOOK, choose a preset from FACTORY LOOK, and select COPY LOOK LINK. The link opens that original preset with its audio reactions. Personal slider edits and music are not included. Use OPEN LOOK to preview what the recipient will see.
How do I share my edited look?
Open SHARE A LOOK, select PREPARE MY LOOK, then choose COPY MY LOOK LINK. The link includes your current visual settings, modulation routes, and generator settings. Music is not included. Use OPEN MY LOOK to preview the result. Prepare a new link after making more edits.
Audio modulation
On a control with Assign modulation, select the activity icon to open Modulate with. Choose a named source, or choose — None to leave the control unmodulated. After you assign one, its name appears below the slider; select that name to edit the route, or use Clear modulation to remove it. The slider track shows the live signal reaching the control.
| Modulated control | Section | What the route changes |
|---|---|---|
| Motion Rate | Field | Sets how quickly the shared field approaches, passes the camera and retreats. Zero holds the current automatic field. |
| Orbit Radius | Field | Sets how far the focus travels from the center. Bass is assigned by default and opens the broad arcs around the held or automatic focus. |
| Focus Angle | Field | Turns the focus path around the field. Mids are assigned by default and move its cusps and cores sideways. |
| Detail | Field | Adds smaller recursive generations while preserving the dominant field structure. |
| Ring Density | Field | Sets the number of fine nested contours. High frequencies are assigned by default. |
| Mirror Fold | Field | Blends from an open inverse field to the full mirrored fold, changing its cusps and symmetry. |
| Edge Sharpness | Field | Changes soft contour bands into thinner, harder edges. |
| Core Glow | Field | Sets the brightness where the warm arcs and cool rings intersect. |
| Pointer Influence | Interaction | Sets how strongly a held pointer replaces the automatic focus as the field eases into the interaction. At zero the field keeps following its guide. |
| Field Position X | Interaction | Scrubs the recursive field from a sparse linked chain toward dense folded cores; assign music to drive the same structural path as pointer interaction. |
| Field Position Y | Interaction | Moves through the manual field vertically, changing cusp linkage and fold direction; a single assigned axis follows the full diagonal field path. |
| Interaction Spread | Interaction | Spreads the field around a held pointer or automatic focus. Overall level is assigned by default. |
| Wave Displacement | Interaction | Sets how far the playing waveform bends neighboring contour segments in opposite directions. Zero leaves the recursive field unperturbed. |

Tips for a better audio visualization
- Press and hold near the center for a dense recursive field, then drag toward a corner to open larger arcs and chained ring islands.
- Try Frozen Node for a precise, slow field or Audio Storm for stronger movement from every assigned audio band.
- Set Wave Displacement to zero to inspect the base field, then raise it while music plays to see different contour segments bend along the waveform.
- Use Background Opacity at zero to place the colored contours over another Studio layer.
