Constellation Lattice
A glowing web of nodes that the music releases, links, and carries through a dark room, with captions that name the frequency and level of each hit and follow a node outward.
Constellation Lattice grows a web of nodes in the Wire category. A splat wanders slowly through a dark faceted room and releases new nodes; each one links to its two nearest neighbors and drifts through a turbulence field until it fades. The music moves the splat and decides how many nodes it releases, beats fire bursts, the live waveform walks along each chain, and when a frequency band hits, a caption naming that frequency and its level attaches to an outer node, glows as bright as the emitter, points outward into empty space, and fades. Fresh nodes carry the accent color and cool toward the ink as they age. Six camera views and four motion paths frame the web, from a flat chart to a view inside it.

Looks
Chart Room is the warm default web. Ember Web releases more nodes and circles them. Ice Index is a sparse, long-lived cool web seen wide. Violet Archive climbs through a turbulent field. Copper Ledger looks down on fewer, thicker links. Signal Storm drops you inside a fast phosphor storm with no captions. UV Spiral climbs through an electric blue web with magenta trails. Neon Plasma circles a deep blue web whose fresh nodes burn coral. Paper Draft draws dark ink on a warm ground.
Quick start
- Start the demo track, choose a local audio file, or enable a live input.
- Try a preset or style first, then open the section for the part of the image you want to change.
- On a control with Assign modulation, open the source picker, choose a signal, and watch the slider's live fill.
- Use Reset to Defaults whenever you want to return to the original look.

Audio modulation
On a control with Assign modulation, select the activity icon to open Modulate with. Choose a named source, or choose — None to leave the control unmodulated. After you assign one, its name appears below the slider; select that name to edit the route, or use Clear modulation to remove it. The slider track shows the live signal reaching the control.
| Modulated control | Section | What the route changes |
|---|---|---|
| Spawn Rate | Splat | Sets how many nodes the splat releases when the music drives it fully. Quiet passages release a slow trickle. |
| Turbulence | Splat | Sets the strength of the field carrying the nodes. Zero lets them drift straight from the splat. |
| Signal Travel | Splat | Sets how hard the waveform kicks along each chain of linked nodes. |
| Labels | Ink | Sets how bright and how long a frequency caption stays on the node it follows after a band hits. Zero hides captions. With a source assigned, loud passages hold captions longer and brighter. |
| Connector Length | Ink | Sets how far a caption's connector reaches out from its node. Routed to the highs by default, so the connectors punch outward with the music. |
| Node Size | Ink | Sets the size of the node marks. With a source assigned, the nodes swell with the music and return to this size in quiet passages. |
| Link Width | Ink | Sets the thickness of the links between nodes. With a source assigned, the links thicken with the music. |
| Glow | Ink | Adds a soft bloom around the nodes and links. Zero keeps a sharp web. With a source assigned, the bloom brightens with the music but never past the top of the slider. |
Settings reference
Splat
| Setting | Available values | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Palette | EMBER, ICE, VIOLET, COPPER, PHOSPHOR, PAPER, UV, PLASMA | Chooses the ink and ground: warm Ember, cool Ice, Violet, Copper, green Phosphor, dark ink on Paper, electric UV, or blue Plasma with fiery accents. |
| Spawn Rate | 1–60 | Sets how many nodes the splat releases when the music drives it fully. Quiet passages release a slow trickle. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Lifetime | 0.2–3 | Sets how long a node lives before its links fade. Short lives keep a tight trail; long lives fill the room. |
| Splat Spread | 0–1 | Sets how far the music pushes the splat. Zero keeps it on its slow idle path. |
| Turbulence | 0–2 | Sets the strength of the field carrying the nodes. Zero lets them drift straight from the splat. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Signal Travel | 0–1 | Sets how hard the waveform kicks along each chain of linked nodes. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
Ink
| Setting | Available values | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Labels | 0–1 | Sets how bright and how long a frequency caption stays on the node it follows after a band hits. Zero hides captions. With a source assigned, loud passages hold captions longer and brighter. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Connector Length | 0–1 | Sets how far a caption's connector reaches out from its node. Routed to the highs by default, so the connectors punch outward with the music. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Node Size | 0.2–3 | Sets the size of the node marks. With a source assigned, the nodes swell with the music and return to this size in quiet passages. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Link Width | 0.002–0.05 | Sets the thickness of the links between nodes. With a source assigned, the links thicken with the music. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
| Glow | 0–1 | Adds a soft bloom around the nodes and links. Zero keeps a sharp web. With a source assigned, the bloom brightens with the music but never past the top of the slider. Use Assign modulation to choose a source. |
Camera
| Setting | Available values | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| View | CHART, CORE, WIDE, TOP, ISO, INSIDE | Chooses the camera. Chart is the flat diagram. Core and Inside move into the web; nodes and links that pass close to the camera thin out and fade, so flying through the web never fills the screen. Wide, Top, and Iso show the whole room. |
| Motion | ORBIT, HELIX, DRIFT, SURGE | Orbit circles, Helix climbs, Drift glides, and Surge moves forward and back. Hidden when Camera Speed is zero. |
| Camera Speed | 0–1 | Sets how fast the camera travels its path. Zero holds the view. |
| Camera Travel | 0–1.5 | Sets how far the camera path swings, and how much the mix pushes that swing. Hidden when Camera Speed is zero. |
| Frame Zoom | 0.7–1.6 | Tightens or opens the framing without changing the web. |
Some controls appear only after you enable a related mode or style. The settings panel always reflects the options available for the current selection.
Tips for a better audio visualization
- Route bass to line width or displacement, then use mids for motion so the shape stays musical instead of only flashing.
- Try assigning Bass to Spawn Rate, then compare Mid, High, and Volume while the demo track plays. The slider's live fill shows the signal reaching that control.
