Beam Wall
Send glowing trails down a wall and across the floor, with traveling light packets, waveform ripples and a choice of cool or warm palettes.
Beam Wall fills a dark stage with a curtain of glowing paths. Each path descends a wall, rounds the bend and runs across the floor toward you. Bright packets travel along the paths while the music bends individual sections of the lines. Start with a complete preset, then shape the wall, change the pace and direction of the light, or soften the glow. The scene remains visible when the music stops.

Audio modulation
On a control with Assign modulation, select the activity icon to open Modulate with. Choose a named source, or choose — None to leave the control unmodulated. After you assign one, its name appears below the slider; select that name to edit the route, or use Clear modulation to remove it. The slider track shows the live signal reaching the control.

Tips for a better audio visualization
- Start with a factory preset to change the palette and movement together, then adjust Bend Radius and Spread to shape the turn from wall to floor.
- Use Center Gap to open an aisle, then Spacing Variation to gather paths toward the center or the outer edges. Zero keeps the original spacing.
- Change Wall Height and Floor Length to resize the stage without moving the camera. A large bend uses more of a short floor. Choose Wide or increase Distance when framing a taller wall.
- Raise Waveform Amount with music playing to bend individual sections of the lines. Compare it at zero, then use History Depth to spread earlier sound through the wall.
- Choose Leading Trails under Flow → Style for one bright moving tip per path with a fading wake. Adjust Trail Length to change its reach. Rails keeps repeated packets on continuous paths, with Packet Length and Packet Density controls.
- Choose Free tempo to set Packet Speed, including zero to hold the light while the waveform stays live. Choose Beat Sync and Packet Beats to pace the motion at ¼, ½, 1, 2, 4 or 8 session beats: a packet interval in Rails or a full path cycle in Leading Trails. It follows the session tempo, with 120 BPM when no tempo is available. This sets the cadence; it does not align every path to a downbeat.
- Use Reverse to send the light back up the wall. Keep space between paths when raising Line Width or Glow.
- Choose Front, Side, Low Floor or Wide under Camera. Use Angle to turn the view, or choose Slow Sweep and set Sweep Speed for a gentle moving view.
- Use Background Opacity when layering Beam Wall over another source in Studio.
