Type Stack
Turn your words into a solid 3D sculpture. Stack, fan, spiral and scatter layers of text that open and twist with the music.
Type Stack repeats your words as solid, colored layers. Low notes open the stack in depth, mids strengthen a traveling twist, and highs raise fine surface ripples. Keep the leading title still for readable DJ names and event titles, or let every copy join the arrangement. Six arrangements place the words in a stack, fan, spiral, ring, wall or burst of separated letters.

Quick start
- Start the demo track, choose a local audio file, or enable a live input.
- Try a preset or style first, then open the section for the part of the image you want to change.
- On a control with Assign modulation, open the source picker, choose a signal, and watch the slider's live fill.
- Use Reset to Defaults whenever you want to return to the original look.
To save a video, choose RENDER, select MP4 · H.264 or WEBM · VP9, then choose RENDER VIDEO. Your text, font, arrangement and audio assignments are included. Wait for VIDEO READY, then choose SAVE VIDEO. Use TEST RANGE for a short sample before rendering the full track. Video export settings.

Audio modulation
On a control with Assign modulation, select the activity icon to open Modulate with. Choose a named source, or choose — None to leave the control unmodulated. After you assign one, its name appears below the slider; select that name to edit the route, or use Clear modulation to remove it. The slider track shows the live signal reaching the control.
| Modulated control | Section | What the route changes |
|---|---|---|
| Layer Spacing | Layers | Separate the copies in depth; the default Bass route opens the stack on low notes. |
| Spread | Layers | How widely the chosen arrangement opens around the leading word. |
| Brightness | Material | Light the letters more softly or more strongly while retaining their colored faces. |
| Twist | Motion | Rotate successive layers into a traveling twist; the default Mid route strengthens it with the music. |
| Wave Amount | Motion | How far a traveling wave lifts and folds the rear layers. |
| Wave Travel | Motion | How fast the wave moves through the layers; 0 holds its phase. |
| Surface Ripple | Motion | Fine ridges travel over the letters; the default High route increases their depth. |

Tips for a better audio visualization
- Enter your own title under Your Text. Use line breaks for up to four lines. Bold Sans gives a heavy poster shape; Tech Mono, Serif and Handwritten change the letterforms.
- Start with Poster Stack, then try Open Fan, Helix, Orbital Type, Print Wall and Letter Burst. Presets retain your text, font and background opacity.
- Keep Front Readable holds the leading word still while the layers behind it move. Turn it off for a repeating wall where every word participates.
- Layer Spacing starts assigned to Bass, Twist to Mid and Surface Ripple to High. Clear a route to keep that control at its slider value, or choose another shared source with Assign modulation.
- Drag the canvas to orbit and use the wheel to zoom. Camera Angle, Camera Height and Distance choose a new view; Auto Orbit adds slow camera travel.
- Set Background Opacity to 0 when layering the solid letters over another source in Studio. Reset to Defaults restores the composition and view while retaining your text and font.
- Neon Marquee adds soft glow and a fine color split. Spectral Echo leaves fading, colored copies behind the spiral. Analog Poster combines warm letter layers with film grain and scanlines. Halftone Press prints the repeating wall in colored dots. These presets also load the shared Effects panel; select an original composition for a clean look, or adjust the effects there. Your text and font are retained.
