Signing In
How BeamTracer sign-in works — email magic links, the optional 8-digit code, and signing out
BeamTracer uses passwordless sign-in. There is no password to create or remember — one login works across Audio Visualizers, OSC-1 Oscilloscope, and BT Laser Studio.
Magic Link Sign-In
- Choose Log in on the homepage or open the sign-in page, then enter your email address
- Click Continue with email
- Check your inbox and click the sign-in link on the same device and browser you requested it from
- You're signed in and returned to where you were headed
Sign-in links are single-use and expire after a while. The most common sign-in failure is opening the link in a different browser (or device) than the one that requested it — for example, tapping a link on your phone that you requested on your laptop, or an email client opening it in its own in-app browser. If that happens, request a new link from the browser you actually want to use.
If the link fails or never arrives, use Resend email on the "Check your email" screen, or Use a different email to start over. An expired or already-used link shows a "Sign-in failed" page with a Try Again button.
8-Digit Code (When Available)
When enabled, the sign-in email also includes an 8-digit code for customers who check their email on another device. On the "Check your email" screen, choose Use code from another device, then type or paste the code. Verification starts automatically as soon as all eight digits are present. If you don't see that option or a code in your email, use the sign-in link instead.
Google Sign-In
A Continue with Google button appears on the sign-in page but is currently disabled and marked coming soon. Use the email link flow for now.
Signing Out
- Log Out — in the account menu of the global header, in any app.
- Sign out everywhere — on your account page.
Both sign you out of all sessions on all devices (not just the current browser) and return you to the home page, so either is safe to use on a shared computer.
No account is required to use the Free tier — sign in when you want trial credits, cloud-synced settings, or a paid plan. See Pricing.
